Finance and Office Clerk
Part-Time – Term Position

St. John’s Anglican Church is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Finance and Office Clerk to support the administrative, financial, and communication needs of our parish and St. John’s Cemetery. This role blends bookkeeping, office coordination, and warm, welcoming communication with parishioners and the public.

Key Duties
 Maintain accurate church and cemetery financial records (QuickBooks, Excel)
 Prepare deposits, reconciliations, reports, invoices, and charitable receipts
 Produce weekly bulletins, newsletters, and manage parish databases
 Provide front-office reception and communication support
 Assist with facility rentals, maintenance coordination, and regulatory compliance
 Work closely with Rector, Wardens, Treasurer, and Cemetery Superintendent

Requirements
 2+ years bookkeeping/administration experience
 Proficiency with QuickBooks & MS Office
 Strong organization, communication, and confidentiality
 Experience in non-profit, church, or cemetery settings an asset

Compensation: $35/hour, approx. 20 hours weekly. Police Records Check required.
